I'm sure it'll be great, especially as a TFA saber. I tried one of those clamp covers before Roman made the 'no-logo' clamps and it was such a pain. I'm so glad he made clamps without the logo.

I've tried posting a few times on Merv's Page, anyone know how often he makes CF8 boards, I'm in UK and CSS is a bit expensive given poor conversion rate and crazy postal cost for a tiny item.

I'm in no rush as I'll be in the middle of the run but would like to have the sound board in my hands sooner rather than later.

Have you considered an Igniter or Spark from Naigon?

Hey Guys,

There was a tiny issue about 10 days ago, and it has already been fixed!! I didn't post about it, because then everyone was going to freak out and we still had time according to their last ETA.

Bulb-contacts didn't look quite right, so they were remade. Everything is still being assembled, but they said they are "busting their butts" to get them out right away. So maybe a few more days.

First batch bulb contacts:

Anyone have an idea on how to give the clamp that sort of brassy tarnished color that it had in TFA?

It had a metal cover plate.

Indeed! But I bought Roman's clamp without the Graflex logo stamped on it, so I've been trying to figure out the best way to make have that slightly brassy color so it looks more TFA screen accurate.

And the answer is still to pay $10 to have a nickel-plated cover clamp applied over the actual clamp. There is no easier solution.
