Okay, looks like things will be wrapping up in the next couple months!! Woohoo!!
Final prototypes ready early next month.
Complete Graflex units should be shipping to me in October!
Thanks to everyone who jumped in on this project to help bring the Graflex back to life!!
And a very special THANKS to Chris @teecrooz for lending me a Graflex when all my others were stuck at the old shop.
That's it for now! Should be a very Merry Christmas for everyone!!

Okay, looks like things will be wrapping up in the next couple months!! Woohoo!!
Final prototypes ready early next month.
Complete Graflex units should be shipping to me in October!

Nice! Very nice! The Anticipation will probably kill me lol, but to be honest I'm glad for the extra time. With all the projects I have going on, was starting to feel the pressure getting details of these builds sorted out.

Hey guys. I purchased one back in May and can't wait. How do I read the names on the first page listed Dec, Jan, Feb, etc? Is that when they are shipping or is that when they placed the order??

Yeah, I don't even remember when I pre-ordered mine during the initial availability, but I know I got in kind of late. So I'm not expecting mine in the first few batches. Can't wait to pair this with an eventual Roman's Obi Wan saber for the two ANH blue sabers I've wanted to own for forever.

You know, I bought a second, pre-drilled bottom to replace my same mistake from way back in the day with no template attempt.
I plan on updating the grips on it, but I think I'll maintain the original placement, after looking at new and more pics, they weren't as perfectly symmetrical as we once thought.
I'll swap bottoms as I see fit, I'm sure or, more likely I'll just keep my original one...until someone comments on how "they're not right" lol.

Just curious, but why did you need to drill for an ANH sabre? I've always just glued mine on as no rivets were needed?

Because it was 1994 and all I had were blurry pics in the Star Wars RPG sourcebooks and the Shane Johnson Tech Journal. I knew from the journal there were rivets. I knew from one good ANH pic there was the glass eye that was already on the Graflex I acquired. Since I couldn't locate the right kind of windshield wipers, I just made some simple rubber strips and riveted them into holes. Tech journal made it seem like 6 was the number, so that's what i did, by hand, with the patience of a 20 year old.
I've replaced them since with t-track of course, but it's currently an ANH 6-grip to cover the holes. Even if I found another knob to make it ESB, the holes are so uneven it would look terrible.
