Is there any other start date of summer (in Northern Hemisphere)? Never heard of one.:lol

Well, there are three I know of:

• The meteorological start of summer: June 1
• The astronomical start of summer, as determined by the most common date of the summer solstice: June 21
• The astronomical start of summer, as determined by the actual/exact date of the summer solstice in the current year: June 20 for 2016

Btw, I mistakenly said "equinox" earlier when I meant "solstice" in my earlier post.

Yeah, astronomical every time. I think I can go out on the street any day this week and ask 100 people and not one would have heard of the meteorological start of June 1st.

i personally don't go by a date... when the humidity goes above 60% and the temp is in the 80's.... it's summer

Nah man I got an index card signed "best wishes Alec guiness 1976" and got it framed and mounted alongside a sweet opx image looks awesome

Roman - is that an anodizing stain on the inside? Do you think that would be able to be taken off using some metal polish? They look spot on!
