I went to the pre-order page but I didn't see the clamps there. Did I miss something?

That page was take down March 15th when the Graflex Run went "live".

Thanks. I ordered 3 but it didn't give me the multiple ordering discount.

I ordered 2 & didn't receive the discount either. I still might order a third, in month or 2.

Sorry, no discount on those. They will probably go up to about $44 by the end of the year. Those little suckers are a pain in the butt to make!! :lol

My hilt arrived at the beginning of March, and was told the clamp would follow mid-late April. I haven't been paying attention because I have several projects on the go but I was expecting it to be here about now. So now it suddenly seems like it won't be here until late summer? That's a bit dissapointing.

No. Late summer is MISINFORMATION.

Roman, I noted earlier in the thread that another delay must have occurred since the last one you mentioned—indicating the delivery date was being pushed to late March—since the website was changed since then to say the clamps would be delivered in May. Now it looks like the website has been changed again to "late summer" for the clamps, the same as for the complete flash, but again this hasn't been addressed in the thread. Can you please confirm that the clamps will not be ready earlier than the flash, as you had hoped they would, and that two additional delays have occurred since your last delivery estimate? It gets confusing when the website reflects changes that aren't being mentioned or acknowledged in the thread.

Okay, first things first.

1st - The clamps on the CLAMP PAGE www.RomanProps.com/clamps have a pre-order date of May 2016

2nd - the clamps on the GRAFLEX PAGE www.RomanProps.com/graflex have a pre-order date of late-Summer 2016. Clamps on the GRAFLEX PAGE are also being ordered with 3-cell bottoms & red buttons, which will be ready AFTER the clamps... so I have to put "late summer" so people don't expect 2 separate shipments.

- This clamp run is SEPARATE from the Graflex Flashgun run. This is a different vendor making only clamps. So anything posted on the Graflex page applies only to that page

FYI - The date on the GRAFLEX PAGE will soon change to "October", "Thanksgiving" etc, because I need time to get through all the orders.

Ok, I went to the clamp page (btw, the link above is incorrect. The "s" needs to be removed for the page to load) and ordered a May 2016-ETA clamp. I am mostly concerned about knowing accurate ETA dates because I am in Ecuador most of the year and only travel back to the States a couple times a year. I can't order things that won't arrive by the time of my next trip back because they get lost if they sit too long. My next trip back is in May, so thanks for confirming that there are indeed clamps that will arrive in may if we pre-order now.

Might I make a suggestion, though? It may be good to add a note to the clamp on the "Graflex" page to the effect of: "Please only use this option to order a clamp if you also need and are ordering other Graflex parts (red button, 3-cell bottom, etc.) that will be ready and shipped later in the year. If you ONLY need a clamp, please visit the clamp page at http://www.romanprops.com/clamp to order clamps for May 2016 shipping."

Otherwise you're going to have at least a few folks that need only a clamp order them from the wrong page, and be disappointed when they don't show up in May.

Folks have said it before, but I'd like to say again that we appreciate your taking on this task to replicate the Graflex and its parts.

People that order ONLY a clamp, even from the Graflex page or even if it says "late Summer 2016", will still get them as soon as they are ready... Because I am filing clamp orders separately from all other extras.

Those who order clamps with extras will all have the same ship date.

Will all clamps be "the same" (construction, accuracy, quality) regardless of whether they're ordered as extras or whether they come with a Graflex flash gun or an Obi Wan kit? I have three coming with flashgun and Obi-Wan and thinking about ordering one as an extra for another saber I'm building.

Just ordered a third clamp from the "clamp" page. Cause I forgot which page I ordered from last night Then I finished reading the rest of the posts. HAA!!! This is funny. Oh well, I needed a third anyway. Thank you Roman for clearing all the confusion, & I can't wait for these babies to arrive. :thumbsup

Looking forward to the clamps shipping! Just found this thread and the photos of the final look PERFECT. Can't wait to get one on my SH V2. This also has me even more excited about getting the flashgun kit later this year.
