The clamps are also still listed in the Parts section. But you have to note that when you click on PARTS along the top, under the main menu a sub-menu will appear and then you have to click on "Clamp" which takes you here: http://www.romanprops.com/clamp where there is the additional option for a chromed version.

Hey Guys,

Clamps will be delayed.

- I had no idea about 2 weeks off for Chinese new Year :confused
- Looks like there was a misunderstanding about production time : I was told 7 weeks (3 weeks for sample, 4 weeks production). Now I'm being told it was 3 weeks for sample, and 7 weeks for production.

So that adds about 5 weeks (2 wks New Year, 3 extra wks production). Moving us to late March.

Sorry guys. I don't think I misunderstood. It looks like something was lost in translation. My apologies.

Just an FYI for those following this thread. The website now says May, so there must have been another 2 month delay that occurred since the last delivery estimate above.

Thx, I see that, but the original "Parts" link Roman has posted here in this thread doesn't take you to the Parts page, from which as you mention the clamp sublink is visible. It instead directs you to the Balance Pipe page in error, at least it does for me. I'm sure Roman will fix the links soon.

It takes you to one specific parts page and the sub-menu is right there where I mentioned it was. There is no page that lists all parts - you have to click on a specific part type from the sub menu. Everything is working correctly, though it may not be an ideal design. Here's a screen capture with the sub-menu highlights and the clamp link highlighted.

I hope the levers are not locked in with lock-tight, as I need to switch levers in one to use with my Starkiller v2.

The lever is 'square' where it enters the sidebars, so you need to squeeze those sidebars together in order to unscrew the lever.

Once the flash is finished, the price may go up just a bit on the clamp. Maybe $44. But you should be good through at least June.

Roman, I noted earlier in the thread that another delay must have occurred since the last one you mentioned—indicating the delivery date was being pushed to late March—since the website was changed since then to say the clamps would be delivered in May. Now it looks like the website has been changed again to "late summer" for the clamps, the same as for the complete flash, but again this hasn't been addressed in the thread. Can you please confirm that the clamps will not be ready earlier than the flash, as you had hoped they would, and that two additional delays have occurred since your last delivery estimate? It gets confusing when the website reflects changes that aren't being mentioned or acknowledged in the thread.
