Future Floor wax

What all do you guys use this on and how do you apply it? I hear of it being used just wondered how, where and why.

Thanks

It can be airbrushed, it can be hand-brushed (with care). Basically for anything you want to look glossy and be protected. Handy for making scratches in clear plastic parts invisible, and for attaching canpoies to aircraft models (rather than using glue, which can "craze" the plastic).

You can also just dip small parts...

It's basically just a real thin acrylic high gloss clear coat...

Easy clean up (and stripping) with common household ammonia...

For parts that have a "well" (for example, a miniature window with sash) I've actually used an eyedropper and just let it spread across the "glass" until constrained by the frame.

Funny, I just spotted this thread and wondered if it was addressing a concept I'd stumbled-on for myself awhile back: Using Future floor wax to repair clear acrylic. Hadn't considered it as an adhesive; that's a great idea.

I just apply it with a clean rag. I used it to clean up a clear resin casting I had to grind down. After I had the finish I wanted, I used it to dilute glass paint and tint the clear resin. The color had to be spot on, and this was the best way for me to do it. I was able to work with a lighter color than I needed and build up layers until it was dark enough.
