Hello everyone!!

I am not actually new to this site, signed up since 2014 but been attempting to build Iron man suits since my high school years in 2011 but now that I actually built a suit that I am proud of sharing I thought I'd like to join, share and contribute to this community as much as I can! I started from a paper build, graduated to foam and now 3D printed suits. Mostly I've worked with Do3D files from Mk46, Mk50 which did not turn out so well until now the Mk85!

To avoid over-saturating my first thread I'm gonna take my time posting each part of the suits unless people feel like I should share the whole thing. (The suit is practically 90% completed)

I got to admit that my work is far from perfect and any criticism is very welcome and I decided to join this amazing community for advice and improvement that I can make!! Thank you for reading all of the above and here is the suit! Hope you guy like it!

Fantastic work! The paint job here is absolutely stunning!

Awesome...can't wait to see more.! Just setting up my printer now, your build will indeed make me more anxious in my endevor. What type of printer did you use and build plate size.? Looks great!

Thank you!!! No nooo don't feel anxious, it could turn out to be so much better and if you need any help I'm sure there's plenty of help here!!! I printed my suit on the Prusa mk3!! If I remember correctly the print volume is 25x21x21cm

Dang dude looks amazing, my only critique and its a small one is it looks like their is lines from either the paint or the print running across the chest. This could just be the light but something I did notice I thought i'd point out but other than that you nailed it.

This is AMAZING!!!!

Fantastic job. Looks great. I'm about to start printing a mk85 helmet, you nailed the colour scheme, can I ask what you used for the red gold?

I'll mirror a previous comment....

First.. its great! detailed.. painted well..

The only negative are the print lines still showing! (which kinda takes away from the amazing job you did.. and the awesome paint/color scheme)

but the detail and proportions are great! good job!

Hey! Amazing build!

I’m currently actually attempting this exact build!

Currently got my helmet printed and ready for sanding.
Your paint choice is spot on. Any hints on what colours and brands you worked with to get such great results?
