Pepmaster,
I adore what you have done.
For years, I had wanted to make this full suit. Looked online and all I could find were foot tall models, and helmets that.. well.. did not meet my standards. So I set off making it by hand, I probably went through 4 or 5 different helmet prototypes (a couple of the better ones are still sitting around) I downloaded every reference pic I could find and put so much time into this. Finally I found a beautifully rendered Alphonse model, breathtaking, 93,000 vertices and rendered with wear with Zbrush. I asked the owner and ecstatically for me he agreed. It was the holy grail, was so elated. Then i quickly found out that learning 3d modeling software, and unfolding would not only take far longer than I thought, but learning to use the programs would take even longer. I gave it a decent effort, but over time with the multiple screwups I decided to put him on the back burner to pursue other prop/costumes, and my other art interests. I figured as I continue in engineering I will pick up more knowledge with these programs and would tackle it when it became a little more manageable.
And then you came, in your shining, generous glory. I just found these files today... and sadly for my other builds... they will have to share their time slot with Sir Elric.
Graciously you will receive credit, shame on those who call upon their own inability and laziness to claim your models as their own. It's one thing to tell someone you made your own armor, its another to take credit for the pep model and even sell it. I feel your disgust and aggravation.
I will post my progress on here and testify the final build as a testimony of your pep skills. Again, I greatly appreciate all your work, I would like to shake your hand (or hugs >.> ... I'm a hugger)
All the best and continued thanks, ultulva (aka FaceLiftCustoms)
