Full size Dalek?

This Planet Earth are the licensed ones, using the moulds from the show and such. I'm pretty sure you can get one shipped over to the US but it would be pretty expensive.

Not wanting to start any trouble I had heard the quality of 'This Planet Earth' products was poor. If I am wrong about this (and I hope I am) then please shoot me down in flames. Just what I heard from a few friends.

The best I have seen for plans of the different styled Daleks is http://www.projectdalek.co.uk/ as also posted by Eagle.

I think they even have plans for the new style Daleks as well. You do have to register as a member and wait for authorisation but it is worth the wait

It is funny but it is easier to find someone to get parts for robby the robot, B9, R2d2, ABC robot here in the states but when it comes to Doctor Who it is almost exclusively an overseas item - could never really figure out why? I am hoping here to make a Tardis, everything I need with the exception of a few items can be found at Home Depot, same for the dalek. I wish anyone who tackles these projects the best of luck and please post pictures, my bigest problem with the TARDIS build is how to make it bigger on the inside

I'm sure there are people in the US who have made Daleks, though I don't know of any for sale.

This Planet Earth makes great stuff and did one that was actually for the show but they aren't allowed to say so. They also have done them for the BBC promotions. I saw a "real" one in their workshop with one they had just built and couldn't tell the difference.

I believe they did one for an upcoming episode in season three.

Greg, I think your best bet is to just get the plans and build one yourself, if you don't have a big budget for it. It's a large 'bot and shipping from anywhere is going to cost big bucks...

Don't use that guide. It's all wrong and your Dalek will come out looking nothing even remotely show accurate.

I've already heard about that guide, don't worry. A friend tried to use it & his Dalek ended up looking like a Bizarro Dalek.
