Yes, I thought it turned out pretty well. An articulated tongue/ lips/ jaws coming soon. I wouldn't mind doing an animatronic head as a special order. Currently the heads are essentially display pieces.

Edit: If one of you wants an animatronic head I'll go ahead and produce it as a per/customer item.

Marty, honestly, I was almost hoping it was that you'd just flaked! I'd rather hear that than that you were at death's door, after the severity of your last health scare, yeek. That's no good man, glad you're better. That said, you wanna check out the OT some time as it seems we've got a rash of long-time members running off with people's money. Trust is low and everyone is nervous lately. Don't hold it against people. Tongue looks great!

Oh! The head sold on Ebay (with the tongue) was never paid for by the buyer. Ideally the funds produced by this sale would pay for all the resin and other materials needed to produce the other orders. I really need to find a buyer for this head. The dispute resolution takes 4 days and thats a lot longer than I want to wait. I'll put it in a separate junkyard post and see if anyone snatches it up. As of right now, its totally up for grabs.

Hey guys,

Been chatting to Marty and trying to figure out the best way to sort this that's fair to everyone, and it struck me that on every other (FS) thread on the RPF, there's a list of those who've paid/partly paid, when they paid, and for what.

Can the original post on this thread be edited to contain a list?

Marty, if you're unsure, it's usually something like

1. pnag - paid, head, tongue, January 2013
2. nwerke etc.

(Just using me as an example, there may be someone earlier! )

The handy thing then is, you can update the list with 'SHIPPED' when the item ships, so that way everyone involved knows where we're all at? It'll also give any body who wishes to order one now an idea of how long they'll have to wait til the back orders are cleared?

Marty - what do you think? And any one else of course!

That sounds like a great idea. I never really considered myself "worthy" of a list like that since my schedule only allows me to do this once or tice a year. ALTHOUGH, I did just buy a large CNC milling machine that will allow me to make all kinds of complicated mechanical parts (lightsabers, arc-reactors, terminator parts, hard to find components, etc) out of everything from resin to chrome steel.

I think you're right. I'll get a list started once I get this whole mess sorted out

It was via my real name, paid through PayPal, sent you on the unique PayPal transactions for all three payments (head in 2 payments, another one for the tongue.) The last one I sold was this one (to a very nice lady whwo happens to be a famous singer). I feel pretty good about my airbrushing at this point and can absolutely promise you wont be dissapointed.

Okay, Marty - there have been 15 mails back and forth between us since you've come back after your illness, and I'm documenting this here as to avoid confusion and to be completely open for both our sakes. To be honest, I'm a bit taken aback that you seem to be inferring that you sent it and I simply didn't get it, when

1 - I never paid for shipping (barring a $25 'down payment' on shipping, you were to get back to me with the full amount, but you reckoned it would be about $60), and
2 - you never told me you sent it. No tracking number, no email, nothing.

I work as a sys admin, and keep all my mails.

How long ago as this?

Once again, and copying this from the mail I sent to you on the 17th of January (and that you have since replied to)

Fair enough, but there are only so many ways I can tell you? Look through the thread, you'll see my posts - I never got it, and you never sent me notification of shipping?

Well, firstly, I never saw a photo of my completed head - you posted on this very thread pics of a bunch of heads that were close to completion, but then September happened, so that's were it was left? It's true that I have two addresses - my work address and home address, but either would definitely -100%- have got to me. I've been buying things on eBay/Amazon and on here for years now, and have never had a package go to the wrong address. To explain, I work for one of only 5 universities in Ireland, and all the staff in the post room know me - if you put my name and just the name of the Uni on the box, it would have got to me. As a result, and because I live only 10 minutes away from where I work, the postal workers in the town all know me, so there's not a chance of it going missing.

I know you've had your difficulties, Marty, and I'm not looking to accuse you of anything, but I can assure you if you did send anything, you never told me, and I never paid for shipping.

In any case, I'll make sure you get either your head or a refund.

Okay - so the head you're selling on the Junkyard - can I have that one, as it looks finished? (Tendons appear attached in one of the pics) Let me know the shipping cost (-$25) including insurance and tracking and I'll send on the difference ASAP. I'll get the head I paid for, you'll have a very happy customer and I'm sure others will be beating down your door then to buy more
