Havent solved the issue yet but the show must go on. Shoulder bell is too small, I built bigger bells last night and forgot to take a picture naturally. This thursday it's finally leaving my house and will be stored at its final location as I start doing many of the finishings and paint.
I have a lot to do this week, including:
Make the arms work
Build the hands
put head on a swivel (its just planted on the neck right now)
Attach the PVC hydrolic pipes to connecting the arms to the back.
Build harness and strapping system for the core

Sorry about the horrible quality of the pics but I finally got a full suit up minus the hands. Lots of work to do, but the finish line is finally in sight.

And Now paint is finally being applied to the suit. I have pumped over 12 cans onto the thing and I'm probably not halfway done.

Some pics from yesterdays work. Gave the leg, chest, head a blackwash to bring out the texture and tone down the silver a bit. Now I gotta do the other leg and arms today. Also need to fabricate the shoulder bells and cod piece as well as start sealing them up and painting them.

Hands are templated out and working on getting them to work by string. So much to do but I'm trying to get it done by Saturday.

I wonder, when that's being worn, can it (and it's pilot) walk through a doorway without having an impromptu meeting with the floor?

but that's uber badassedness!!

I'm really starting to not like this place. too much temptation to build everything out there. Marvel, DC, battlestar, Star wars, star trek... all of it!!

ANNNND It's done. Will be having the reveal soon. Not too happy with the hands. Might add another layer and detail them out so more. But overall I'm happy with the thing.
