Thanks again! I'm glad I could help anyone who has had the same thoughts about plastidip.

I'm thinking about purchasing some dipping latex to layer the armor with, but I'm still deciding.

Hey I just had a quick question. The plastidip on the foam looks incredible in the pictures and actually makes me want to get a "blaze blue" plastidip to spray a foam nightwing piece for my first cosplay. Do you think there would be an issue in plasti-dipping the foam before gluing them to the body suit because i feel like the blue color i am getting would be more noticable if it were to get it onto my bodysuit if i did it while the foam was already on.

Also i was curious about what foam you used? (Sorry for all the questions, im new to cosplaying and im not that great with crafts yet im still so picky with that i do)

I don't think there would be an issue with pre-spraying the foam, other than the foam getting a bit more ridged. It would also take more time, of course, but if you want results it takes time :)
I just used craft foam sheets that I purchased from hobby lobby.

Doesn't matter what color since you'll plastidip them.

Awesome, thank you! I've been pretty bummed out with my cosplay recently but now im really excited after seeing your great suit/process. It's really well done!

Loving this work. How did you Attach the mesh part? And is it in pieces?

Thanks!

I cut the mesh into pieces and glued them down before I placed the foam on top.
On the legs, I am not putting the mesh in certain areas for comfort reasons and mobility.
