Free Joker Shirt Pattern large image*edited pg1 new tiles

Yea I looked downloaded the large file because the small one you posted isn't showing up for some reason. Maybe I just over looked it.

Here's a version I've been working on for the last couple nights. Don't even ask how many hours were involved, let alone how long it took to figure the pattern sequence. From all the staring that I've done, it looks as though the pattern may be mirrored between each sleeve (double-sided printing?). This was done using his left sleeve.

I was going to edit mine now that there's a picture of the actual fabric pattern, I think from a sticker book, but looks like I don't have to. Great job, you nailed it.

Here's a shot of the sticker book page... doesn't look quite right to me.

Although, now that I just looked at this picture (again),

I think I need to edit my "Star of David" design. The stars look too big and too close together now... didn't look that way last night. I need sleep...

I don't think that sticker sheet is an accurate representation of the shirt at all unless there's more to it.

Alright, revision #1 is complete. It's amazing the things you overlook when you're tired. LOL

I made the "checkerboard" a little smaller. It is no longer perfectly square in order to get the correct number of squares. Also, the dark squares overlap each other in the corners.

The "star" pattern is smaller and spaced farther apart.

The "plus sign" pattern was made slightly smaller as well as had the orientation adjusted.

Yes, I know I'm REALLY anal. Does it look better now?

Anal is good. Around here, anal is appreciated! That's a damned good representation, I think!

Your hard work really shows. As many people that have tried to do this shirt, it's better to be the one to get it dead-on especially if you have the time, patience and skills. Now of course, when you (and all of us) are satisfied with the pattern, I am assuming there are plans to have fabric printed for sale? It would be cheaper in the long run to just sell fabric and have the buyers take it to a tailor to have thier shirts made - if anyone else thinks this is a good idea, let it be heard....and if not, I know a great magic trick.

Thanks for the comments. While this isn't my first attempt/s at making this, I'd say I've got around 12 soild hours to get it where it is.

I only planned to print a shirt for myself, however, I can provide the full size image to whoever would be willing to do so if they were interested. Depending on the price, I would buy some yardage as well.

Since I did this in photoshop, it would need to be changed to a vector format (something I know nothing about) as I hear printing shops require it that way.

:thumbsup Can you change it in SVG - Scalable Vector Graphics, open standard and wondeful to work with instead of closed source format like PSD or pspimage. I'll do regularly backups - as an archival matter - this is something that's really really worth preserving in case of data loss.

As soon as I figure out how to do it, I plan to make it a vector image. Although, I'd like to see this new design that jarvis is talking about.

never mind, just the pattern playing tricks with my eyes. When you look at this thing when you haven't had much sleep it really messes with your vision. I think you pretty much got it all right pinder. Excellent work.

Pinder - have you contacted the person organizing the fabric print-up in the other thread?Your design is the best I have seen and I don't see much more room, if any, for it to be topped. It's great that this board has members like you who not only have great talent, but are willing to share thier work and not ask $700 for a ****ing shirt. Excuse my language. I have ****ing tourettes. It's a real disease, with doctors and medicine and everything.
