Tubachris,

Dude...you could've just said, "no." :lol

I had to edit this post because that freakn' video was creeping me out.

My preliminary model. Only thing I can think of that it's missing is a fillet where the "head" meets the "shoulders."

Although someone double check their website, because I don't know if they support spline curves yet or not, and there are a couple in this model.

I can get 8 of em on the 9X9.

This was using MS paint
One more might possibly fit if anyone can turn it like 45 degrees.

I'm guessing that they'll just reject any attempt to cram that many 'rangs on a sheet under their, "if it's too complex" clause:unsure.

I bet they want a shape that's cut, put in a bag and sent no hassle in order to offer it for free.

I thought about that too. My guess would be that 3 might be the limit, unless they don't want to waste the metal.

I wonder if they would tell us just how many they'd be willing to do per person for the free day... I say at least 3 and its worth it...

Rogue Solo and Jonny5,

I just tried to upload the images that you guys made to play with the system. Is there anyway to make them all black with a white background? According to the website, there was 162 different colors in the image and it won't recognize them.

Nice!!!!!!!. Hopefully it will work. I will play with it on the website when my eyes stop bothering me.

This is going to sound strange, but I wonder if we give this guy a number of people who want the same thing (Batarang) so he can turn out all of them at the same time instead of a single order at time?

Sounds like a plan to me! There are a few days before the deadline, so someone should get a yes/no answer soon. Nice work, guys.:thumbsup

If you can wait until Monday, I can get you [all] a more accurate model, and have it saved as their preferred .dxf drawing format. My model was just to garner interest.

In the meantime, if someone wants to e-mail them and find out the exact specification on how many we they'll let us get onto a sheet, that would be great. Also, ask them if their machines can cut spline curves. If not, then I'll need to really tweak the model to make it workable.

Here's what I've been setting up. All the tricky parts for a metal E-11 blaster. The only problem is I'm not sure the lines will be sharp enough for the cutting machine. They lost a lot of resolution during the scale down.

Well, crap. Wish I knew that before I spent 2 hours on scaling. Heh.

Back to the drawing board.

Also, I cant get the estimator to work in either IE or Opera. Once I upload my PNG file, it goes to a blank screen. Any ideas?
