Freddy head,cast from a prop from nightmare four

Well i got this in a trade, a cast from one of the puppet heads used at the end of nightmare four, it had been recast so many times it looked like freds burn problem was getting better., i wanted one for display so i cast it, made a clay press, and resculpted the details back in using lots of referance from the film, here is the first resin cast from the new mould

I plan on doing a foam latex version for a life size fred display, just busy at the moment

Thanks guys glad you liked it, i didn't really take many pics of the process,just churning stuff out for Halloween i still have the head in clay form as i still need to add the back of the head and shoulders to it for the foam latex version, i will take a couple of pics of that.
Paintwise it was done in around a half hour, i started with a basic flesh tone, then went over that with a cherry glaze made for wood, brush it on wipe most of it of using a damp cloth, leaving it in the crevices, then once that dried, i went over it with a dark brown glaze and did the same again, then a yellow flesh was drybrushed over the whole thing, followed by a light flesh on the highlights, a couple of color washes to pick out some details, varnish and it was done.
