Fourth Doctor's (Tom Baker) Sonic Screwdriver Replica

I have always been a big fan of Doctor Who and a big fan of building props, so after I finished my previous projects, which mostly included lightsabers of my own design, I decided to make a legitimate prop replica of Tom Baker's sonic screwdriver. I just completed it. Here are the photos.

Excellent work mate! Not sure if you meant it this way, but it already looks weathered which I think looks fantastic!

I did not intend for it to look weathered at first, but as the paint wore off in places, I decided not to repaint it as I liked the slightly weathered look.

Awesome work! I assume that the soundchip is from a CO toy. Have you checked the latest release of the 3rd or 4th Doctor CO sonics? They have 4 different sounds, not just the 2 new series versions, but the classic effects too. Thought I would mention it, I would prefer to have the classic sounds too.

I did use the chip from a CO Toy. I was under the impression that the 3rd and 4th Doctor CO toys made the same boring sound as the 10th Doctor's CO toy, but if they have released new ones with the old sounds, that is very awesome. Fun little fact that allowed me to justify using the "modern" sounds in this sonic is that Tom Baker's sonic screwdriver does actually make the "modern" sounds in Genesis of the Daleks.
At least I'm pretty sure that it is Genesis of the Daleks, although it might in fact be The Sontaran Experiment.

Just saw Genesis recently but I haven't noticed the sound. Checked it now, and you are right!
I bought a 4th Doctor sonic in October and it has 4 sounds and saw other peoples comments about this too, so it seems at one point they made a new chip. The problem is that they put the same chip into the 10th, future and war doctor sonics too... :facepalm
If you want to replace your current sounds I would suggest that try to find a sonic that was released the last third of 2013 (my friend bought a 3rd Doctor one in London in August and it has only 2 sounds, but maybe it was in stock since May or June). Or try to buy a used one, so the seller can confirm the sounds.
