If I don’t upload the HD photos today, I’ll do so when I have access to solid wifi. I’ll take some more snapshots later today. Also, I confirm that the metallic colored parts of the hilts are aluminum and very possibly tempered steel in some spots. You can see metallic brush marks and scratches all over the hills that can’t be replicated in resin. That said, I can’t confirm whether the white or black grips, for example, are aluminum also. I’ll investigate more thoroughly to confirm if any of the metallic parts have silver painted resin mixed in. I’ll take some brief videos also. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the shows and sequels so I didn’t spend much time here yesterday.

They take a while to load off my phone, but if I don’t upload the HD photos today I’ll do so later. When I’m back on the floor I’ll take more photos. And the metallic parts of the hills are aluminum and possibly steel in some spots. However, I can’t confirm whether the white or black grips, for example, are aluminum also. I’d have to actually look closer today. I’ll take some brief videos also.
You are awesome. Thank you

That Baylan lightsaber looks like one of those that would have been in the old custom lightsaber contests.
I saw something long ago.. I think they spliced 2 different concepts together. I like how now the ergonomics doesn’t make sense.. looks uncomfortable to hold

I totally agree with you, with them switching it up it looks so random. I love it

These sabers do look very nice. I like how Ezra/Sabine invokes prequel trilogy styles similar to Obi-Wan’s episode 1 and 2/ Qui Gon’s which makes sense since Ezra was inspired by Kattan who was inspired by the PT jedi order.

While I do still think the inquisitor spinning wheel saber is silly in concept, the prop here also looks nice too.

These aren’t my photos but credit to whoever took them but they were posted to a fb group I follow. More angles.

I personally like the new Ezra/Sabine look. The shroud thin neck combo feels good to me. Im guessing the shrouds were added to make it easier to visually swap out with the stunt since the rebels design would have looked super chunky and hard to hold a blade. Just an idea.

Well sort of. From what I am being told, since now they actual practical saber (basically the term used to describe the new trend of using fx blades, no sound for blade scenes) these basically have to have a thicker neck. If you look at the modified Ezra, the neck is not is not as thin as it’s animated counterpart. And while we know it is possible to create and fx blade thin neck hilt such as fans and seen on Luke/Mando (which he didn’t do any contact with), such hilts would probably require consistent replacement/maintenance. So they probably want to keep the practical lightsaber designs as close to the hero and/or belt hanger designs as much as possible.
