Hey guys, I posted this in another forum too, so sorry if you saw it twice.

Just wanted to post something I found that has been helpful in a recent AA comm upgrade project. After seeing the material alpha's grill was made of, I have been searching for a something that looks pretty accurate but was much cheaper.

Here is what I came up with:

I realize its not DEAD on, but for 5 bucks and enough material for 20 or so comms, I think its a pretty good deal.

Another cool thing I should mention is that with these, I havn't even needed to glue them to the AA comms. It seems as through the speaker in the communicator has a magnetic pull to it and it just sticks nicely. The force is strong enough to turn upside down and shake vigorously. I like this in case I ever find something even more accurate someday, I don't wreck the comm, and glue doesn't fill the speaker holes, muffling the sound.

As you wish!

Again, not perfect, but I like it better than what comes on the AA comm. I have figured out that one package is enough for about 35 comms.

I have found it helps to color the AA Mic grill with a sharpie so the holes appear nice and dark.
