Thank you for the pictures that helps a lot. I still would feel safer if I can get half back and send it right back to reset the timer on the PayPal clock.

I would be happy receiving these parts as is and I'd be more than happy to finish painting. Not sure if I'm a fan of gelcoat, will probably last longer but makes everything so stiff
 
But if by Christmas you can promise to get this too me I'll let it all slide because I was at peace at counting this run as a loss but I can't lie the pictures give me hope and you are a great artist just not so great at deadlines and communication

I agree with Dustin on this. If you can promise by Christmas then I will be willing to still be in for this. Might even be able to rush and get it ready from chrome if you do by Celebration. Doubtful but its better than not having anything
 
We are definitely going to need something more than "yeah, you'll have it by Christmas" though. We have to stop the cycles of promises that stave off the complaints for a while only to watch nothing happen. We need dates and continual progress photos that back those dates (ex: here's half your box full of finished parts with more coming in a day or two), otherwise refunds asap.

And keep in mind from our history here. Those pics posted above might be 6 months old. We don't really know. For quite a long time we saw pics that were almost identical to the original thread posting. That's why I'm letting go of optimism here and just want facts or refunds.
 
Great update finally Mimic. Keep it up. Like others, I'd ask that you keep posting at least once a week, keep us informed - post an accurate list and timetable as others have asked. As I mentioned in PM, I also want to stay on the run, but like others want to reset the paypal clock - Have no issue sending the funds back immediately upon refund. Hope the updates continue and product starts shipping again
 
Crooknight, you can add me to the PDF also. I ordered March 2017 and got my first half of armor February 2018.
 
Mimic You need to update the thread again today and lay it out firmly to when the armour is shipping and be HONEST Just be Honest so people can work out if they want to stay or go? Or buy another half of the armour from another maker. (Which should not be happing in the first place! Idk If you feel embarrassed by that?) Tell us the list of who will receive the armour first etc. No more games, just be honest!
 
If you want to add more information to my spot on the PDF Crookknight, I ordered at the end of July 2017 and received my first half in August 2018

Also, just in case you are reading through these Mimic, I am still in the run and am looking forward to the second half. But I agree with... basically everyone... that providing a real and honest timeline is important.
 
Thanks for doing that list. See MIMIC we aren't all jerks that don't care Some people see above, help with organization and things that you lack in.

I'm dead serious about not needing my parts gelcoated though if it gets them to me sooner. Hope you are able to post once a week hell at the way things go I'll take once every 2 weeks as better than nothing

Judging by his/her(?) pattern, do not expect a reply this week... or next week... etc. They posted a couple days ago, and that means in their mind they just bought themselves another month or so of dodging this thread. That is the pattern:

1. Come here with a vague post about personal problems, claiming some progress... maybe posting a few photos of unfinished stuff.
2. going silent for a month.
3. Repeat pattern (to pacify everyone and buy another month)

Moviefreak Have you seen this before? I am judging by your comments and Trophy Points, that you have been doing this for a while.

More times than you can imagine.

We see this happen often as people start a big run with good intentions, they spend the money upfront (on supplies and/or debt) and then they find they took on too much, are in over their heads, and that they are starting to drown. They start with excuses but once those run out, they dodge the forum as they don't have guts to respond that they cannot finish the items. Then, they avoid the forum as much as possible because they know people will want a refund and they no longer have the money to give back. At this stage, they usually run for the hills and never come back as they know their rep is toast.

Wishful thinking. If he does not even log on to RPF, how does he know what is going on?

I have a strange feeling that Moviefreak is right.

O I'm sure movie freak is. No one still has yet to reply saying they got a refund yet too even tho MIMIC said some have gone out. And I have yet to hear anything about my refund request. Soooo that being said it seems like it's still a hunch of ******** and lies
