Finally was able to see that pic doesn't show on my phone app. Sounds like he is blantly ignoring us until he has perfectly posed pictures. Sorry if it's a power play to demand I get what I paid for...

Just show progress anything a picture of your crew working and flipping us all the bird I really don't care
 
At this point even a photo of physically being IN the shop at all would be nice. How long has it been now since anything has gone out to anyone? Long time

Dear everyone,


After my last post I did not foresee this thread making a repeat of earlier this year.




We’re about to start shipping armor again - full sets of really really good quality armor and we literally have a machine that takes a lot of the labour out of it now.
The new ab plates have much more flex, the human lay up part is cut down significantly so almost zero chance of any surface flaws.


The Armor now is freaking great anyone that leaves this run will be disappointed.


Anything I say on here I feel is just going to be torn apart by some so all I can say is I ask anyone with any doubt give us October and see for yourselves.
Everyone who thinks we make good stuff and are just planning to wait and get your set of armor shipped ASAP -thank you you’ll get it before Xmas and won’t be disappointed you waited.


I know a couple of you, as before, already clearly have asked to leave the run and I fully respect your wishes and thank you for being a part of it this far, I’ll continue to communicate with you as I have.


Last time a bunch of people joined in with the negative reaction demanded refunds then most once they saw the armor asked to be put back on the list. Some of those same people are now demanding refunds again, because of this anyone who leaves this time once we start shipping these full kits will definitely not be welcome back, ever!


I have PM’s off members who received their first halves and said, ‘best armor I’ve ever seen’ ‘I’m so sorry I’ll never doubt you again’ ‘I don’t know how you do it’ then I announce great things are about to happen and with those same members immediately I’m the bad guy again... there’s been a break last couple of months yes- but it’s been, and continues to be horrendous. Any one of us, the healthiest person you know can wake up with a pain in your side and next step have doctors tell you they don’t think there’s anything they can do. God forbid anyone here has to go through that.


I don’t have any more space in my life at the moment for negativity- there’s a lot of work I’m having to do and I need to stay positive with the things that are going on in my life.
I’m so so sorry to everyone who has and continues to support us - soon this will all be forgotten and this will be a positive place again-


An arm or part of a leg i know from last time isn’t going to swing it. Only once I get everything out and can show you all full sets of armor casting will you believe again. I am very excited to get us and this machine in full swing and turn the tide on what has been one hell of a project.
 
I think what pissed and pisses me off the most is I got on this run thinking it was going to be quick small limited run of like 6 or 8 people. Than you continued to keep taking money while pushing the timeline back more and more and more and more and more and more and more etc

If you would just focused on the first 8 people than opened up your run once you perfected your process I would have been more understanding. But you kept taking money and than played the pity party game while not showing us a damn thing. Sucks about your life but if you would have just finished this out a year ago you wouldn't be under near as much stress. All this drama is your own fault.

MIMIC,

It is not my intent to be negative, however, it comes across that way due to the lack of communication. We ask very specific questions and when we finally get a response from you a couple of weeks later, you do not even address 1 of the questions.

This message you sent paints all of us (your customers) as the bad guys. With all due respect, you are over a year behind on most of your orders in which we have paid in full. The information you gave us today is no different than 6 months ago. At this point, everyone is just looking for proof. This is due to a lack of apparent progress. Best thing you can do is post pictures of this machine you are talking about or where you currently are at with the remaining armor. If you are actually going to be sending out full sets by the end of the month , then at this point you should have something to show everyone.

Please just respect your customers and respond to the questions being asked. Most want to see some photographic proof of what you are doing. I am sure it will be awesome and look great, so it would only benefit you and this thread.
 
I've refrained from joining the discussion as I did have faith you'd come through. However, I've had a similar experience with another costume maker, which is why I'm commenting now.

When do you expect to ship? Is there a schedule that you will share with us?

What do you mean by 'give us October'? What will you show us on 1 November? Everyone will get their armor before Christmas, this year?

Can you show us a photo of the new ab-plate you mentioned then? Instead of an arm or part of a leg. Maybe just a new photo of your workshop to show us what has been achieved since you took on three new team members.
 
Just one time I'd like to pop over to this thread and not see a continuation of the same nonsense that caused me to drop out. I'm genuinely surprised so many folks are still in the dark about the work they've paid for. Nothing has changed. People are angry and asking specific questions on repeat. Mimic isn't providing anything to back up his unending stream of missed promises. This thread, for me, has turned into the longest running bad joke I've experienced.

Good luck everyone. Whether it be luck with your refunds, with your return shipping, with your legal recourse against the vendor - good luck with whichever avenue you decide to pursue. I'll be returning to my normal lurking in the shadows hoping that this flim-flam actually pans out for you folks.

If I had a great set up which Mimic keeps saying he has, ide have photos and all sorts on my selling thread to keep everyone happy!
Mimic kept going on about the negativity in this thread!!! why?? because he wont show everyone who has given HIM a shed load of money one NEW PHOTO!!... you've created the negativity Mimic, no one else!!
What I cant also understand is Mimics been on here a few times but never commented on this thread!! .. just popped on then popped off... without making a comment when surely you've read your own thread and can see how pissed your customers are!! You've caused this crap Mimic.. sort it out, because you are letting your self down as well as everyone else!!

He did this the first blow up in January. Trying to say were the bad guys in this and only some of the blame is his. F%@king ridiculous. Basically all I'm getting from his posts is he has done nothing and no armor has been made since Aug. I think that was the last "kit" that arrived at the door. Wanted to go this route for purely accuracy on Phasma V2/TLJ but ******** I'm a couple days away from getting my money back anyway possible and getting a Diversity or hell Anovos kit cause at this rate they'll ship out before MIMICs.....

I am fed up with being messed around, repeatedly missed delivery dates, several broken promises with regards to the refund. Funds clearing in my PayPal account my foot..it would never have got to this stage if you had actually posted photos of a mould or of a new part..New processes making things quicker etc well where is the evidence..I understand that you have got some serious crap in your life but you are not the only one. Do the right thing mimic and pay up for those wanting a refund and ship the parts to those that want it and don't worry I will not want in on this run again...even dick turpin wore a mask
 
What drives me crazy about this run is the lack of communication. MIMIC pops on every couple of days, but weeks go by before we get an update. He never responds to any questions or requests, just gives the same old update that great things are coming.

I have been asking for pictures for over 6 months and nothing. No response to the request and no pictures. I have never seen a seller ignore his customers so consistently.

I am locked into this run since I have paid full and received half of the armor.

Yes the quality is amazing, but with little hope that the order will ever be completely fulfilled, it makes this entire process very stressful.

If history repeats itself, and it does on this thread, we should get another update about 2-3 weeks after his last post. Most likely it will state that he still has some issues with the armor, but they are working diligently to correct it and that armor will be flying out the door. :lol

I want to believe MIMIC and I want to be proven completely wrong. I only want success and for everyone to be happy and get what they paid for 1-2 years ago.

MIMIC, I write this way and say these things in order to get a response from you, but it never seems to work.

PLEASE, answer the questions people are asking and do not give anymore general updates that tell us absolutely nothing.

Show pictures of your workshop with these 3 people working on the stuff, whether the armor is perfected or not. We keep requesting pictures of anything and you do nothing.

MIMIC, I posted a couple of weeks ago that I would give you to the end of October to show this armor going out this door. This is not a threat, it is me agreeing to what you posted that starting October 1st, we would see substantial progress and by the end of October FULL SETS of armor would be going out. Please send the second halves of the armor to people that already the first half before sending full sets to people farther down the line. That is the right and fair thing to do.

And please, honor your word and commitment to get this armor out.
