Hello Craig, things are good thank you. There’s been a lot of training going on in the workshop as these aren’t the easiest things to lay but my assistant seems to have gotten the hang of it now. We’ll see an increase in pace soon.

Still aiming on starting to pull the other components by the end of the Month too. Thank you.

Training is always good, you have to start somewhere for all of these different abilities that are being learned on this type of site.

I'm with heartstopper, its a pity there isn't a way we could help out practically with the build on this, it would've been a great experience and fun to get together and share in the toy box we call STAR WARS.

Good Thank you Badges, training is complete, we had a couple of failed parts but it was to be expected. Very confident from here on that we will tick off two places per week. Also this week at some point I’m going to begin test casting the arm armor so keep an eye out here for photos of those !!!

Ok, I don't have time to post much now, but I received my armor today and it is, hands down, the most beautiful and precise set of armor I've ever seen. Blown away! It's very thick and rigid so need to figure out strapping and comfort, but it makes my prototype ANOVOS look like it's made out of clay. Well done MIMIC!

Now the anguishing wait for the other half. I can't wait!

Has anyone cut there shoulder strap slots out yet?

What tool have you used?

Started rigging mine up yesterday. Glued few magnets in place for the back enclosure and on the chest piece.

Velcroed the cod and butt plate. Assuming those will just hook onto skirt. Still need to add some straps probably to those for added security

I used a dremmel cutting wheel to open up my shoulder slots. Worked beautifully. Just be extra careful and go slow

Do you guys worry about the flexing when you cut those holes? This thing is pretty rigid and is tight getting it on, especially when wearing gaskets. I’m worried about causing a weakness at that point. Our Anovos suits are notorious for cracking at that point.

Hoping to get my first batch this week so I am interested what you guys are doing here, I have some .5mm aluminium that I want to cut to size to make a plate underneath with a tab through the central slot to rest the bells on, it looks to be around an inch wide so can someone grab a rule and confirm this?

I have had a tracking number since the 20th but the status has not changed. Label created. Says it has not reached a UPS facility yet. Hope it arrives this year.
