thank you for the update mimic, I cant wait to see this bad boy in the flesh and I appreciate all the hard work that you are putting into it...just out of curiosity who are people getting their gaskets from as I cant justify the expensive prices some people are asking for them.

Geeky pinks gaskets are awesome cloth gaskets! Find her on Facebook. If you want rubber ones then go imperial gaskets but it's a wait to get those

Geeky Pink for sure, I went ahead and got the harness etc. This isn't a cheap build at all.

Also I probably wouldn't hold your breathe on getting this kit done by Dec 14th 2017. Unless I get it right before December 1st there is no way to get this done unless you have a ton of people helping you with rigging and fitting and get it done in a weekend. It's possible but the chances of making a mistake increase.

E6k takes about 2 days to fully cure before I feel safe putting stress on anything, and even than I've had to go back and reglue rigging.

Patience I feel like will be worth it, Mimic is moving much better than Anovos and the communication has been much better. I still keep telling myself it's better than getting Jim's kit because I didn't want to paint. But than I just ordered a TFA Tie from SGB and KB that will need perfect sanding, filling, sanding, and paint.

I've also got these on order, as do the other 4 of us in Vermont. I didn't get her harness though. A garrison member mounts his FOTK on a condor mcr1 tactical vest. I'm going that route but mostly because the vest was around $40 and her harness wasn't.

Also I probably wouldn't hold your breathe on getting this kit done by Dec 14th 2017

Sadly, I completely agree. I'm slightly disappointed that I won't be in FO gear for the premier but then I remember that I'll get this kit well before Anovos starts delivering them. If he can get these shipped to us in the next 2 weeks, I'll definitely be busting my ass to get it together in time, but I doubt it.

Fortunately i was able to acquire someones unwanted set of imperial gaskets look really good when done, just started research on harness system but the tact vest seems a good shout to look into

You have to remember that the armour will be ready out of the box. So hopefully they won't be much trimming to do and the only major thing to do is strap it all together. Im hoping it will be out soon but you can't rush perfection!

Yeah the Last Jedi is the holy grail but if it can be met by then it would be smashing but the problem is do you want popcorn in your armour? Mimic I don't know if you're going to be shipping the armour separately still like planned or are ya going to just wack it out as one whole suit. With UPS (If you're going with them?) That should save yeah shipping cost and make life a bit easier for you?

I think to keep people happy and hopeful do what Lucas Arts is doing with their promotions. Keep putting out little snippets of info and teases and follow them up with big updates. Keeps peep's happy and will build more interest in another run! (Just an Idea?) I've seen on other threads prop makers posting photos now and again which act more as an update than words. Again keeps interest high and brings in new people! But that's just my idea so don't shoot me down lol

Being or having Geeky pink Harness it looks like an easy job to strap together. I have a plan in motion but its just waiting for the armour to execute it. Knowing Mimic he has eyes of a hawk and if he see's a missing detail or something that looks odd he will fix it so having that quality control craftmanship is great!

Hey Quinxx44 sorry, Yes! Shoulder bells all re-done caught up, shipping will commence this week. Was intending to get some photos up today but been on my own all day and zoned out trimming and applying decals.
I’ve got the set that is my tester set ready with some botched strapping (glue gunned) to put on so I’ll find someone to take some pics of me in it tomorrow and finally show you the finished parts together!
