Force Pike - Tapered or Not ???

Hi there.

Are the ‘force pike’ that are carried by the ROTJ Royal Guard Tapered ?

I know there are different sections that are smaller as they go from bottom to top. But is the main chrome shaft that goes from the handle to the tip tapered? I have looked at all available pictures and still not sure.

OT guards and pikes are different than the PT.
The OT pikes definitely taper.

I'm going to get a steel rod made to order and then get it chromed. I want to get as close as possible.
