Had to take a break from Sculpt due to the weather.

This is another project I am working on. Not for a client. This time for me. The wife says its o.k.:lol

Can you guess what it is?

Hey man looking good , saw this on tebc as well , keep posting pix as mine is still all boxed up collecting dust and both you and Mandalore are off to a great start.

Progress so far.

Will be adding dowels for the pistons in the back of the shins. After cleanup will work on the knee caps, legs then pelvis.

Great start so far! I've always wondered, what do you do when he's built? Paint? Surely not chroming!

I'm sure you will use a vacuum chrome metalizing process or something for plastic and resin's, or similar process, that the C3P-0 builders use?

OK

Here is the leg all together. I have alot of putty and cleanup but its getting there.

I am texturing him and painting a hammered finish. Not chrome at all. He will also be distressed and battle damaged. Makes no sense to me to have him pristine as if off of the showroom floor.

Thanx. I have the other leg done but ran out of hardware. LOL There sure is a lot of crap to this guy. I have always consider myself a pretty good prop maker but this thing........

Stay Tuned.
