Foam Loki Helmet

Hi guys,

I am having my first go at making a Loki helmet using JFCustom's pep files. This is also only my second time using pep files too. I did end up changing a few parts as I went along as I didnt make the angled cuts properly on the horns, which meant they were too big too fit into the space in the design, so I just used some more foam and changed it slightly at the front, means its more like the Thor version of the helmet.

Its now currently being covered with tissue/pva, then I will be coating it in resin before painting.

This was actually a commission for someone, she had seen my Ironman helmet and asked me to make her the Loki one.

I have kept her updated and she loves it. I love this forum though as literally any question I could possibly want to ask has already been answered in detail elsewhere, the search function is amazing. I only started getting into cosplay in March and have now got the bug for making props, to go with my outfits too.

I did a Loki helm scratch build a few months ago. Working With Worbla: King Loki Build – Helmet | coregeek
I considered the foam pep route but ended up going with worbla and foam.

Thanks guys, its matt black spray paint with metallic gold acrylic sponged over the top, it will be getting a coat of glossy clear acrylic to make it really pop in the next few days
