Flat/Semi-Gloss Clear Coat Lacquer for Props?

What's a good durable flat or semi-gloss clear I can use to spray on a resin prop?

I attached a picture of a Visitor laser pistol(from the show V) resin prop I recently painted. The black is Duplicolor Perfect Match acrylic lacquer and the gray is Tamiya TS-67 lacquer. I clear coated it with Duplicolor Perfect Match Gloss Clear but it's too shiny. Duplicolor makes a flat clear lacquer but it doesn't come in a spray can and will have to be airbrushed.

Is there a flat or semi gloss clear lacquer that anyone can recommend that will be durable for a prop?

I've used Testors Modelmaster lacquer semigloss for that purpose and it works well.

The reason I used Duplicolor was a friend said it would be very durable for handling?

BTW, do you have a picture of the can or a number of the Testors model Master lacquer semi gloss you used?

Does the top coat need to be a lacquer? Both Rust-Oleum and Krylon make perfectly fine enamel satin clear spray.
