Been a while since the last update but have been hard at it
Ordered a Mt Incredible costume online. Looked a lot better in the pics. Was very big and the muscles were stupidly placed on the side of the arms and legs, the chest and abs were one moulded peice which looked stupid aswell. Obviously there are different types of Mr Incredible costumes and this was the crap one

(may as well have started with a skin tight suit).
Picture is the suit on a duct tape dummy
Alot of work would need to be done to reshape the body to something a bit more respectable. Firstly I cut out the arm and leg muscles, only kept the shoulders on. Secondly added a back zip and fly (this one had no zip it was just velcro) and also had to take in all the excess material
Next began building some new muscles. Using pillow stuffing and stockings I built up the basic size I wanted then used string to create the lines and shaped the arms and chest.
Next did the legs and added a layer of latex to solidify the shape.
Slowly added layers of latex, bulked up the abs using the same method of pillow stuffing, stocking and string, used a torn up sponge to give the surface texture and to help blend any joins.
Next was the back, same deal, stocking stuffing and string (felt awkward massaging the butt into shape lol)
Further layers of latex
Experimented with foam balls from a bean bag and some foam eggs I picked up at the local crafts store. Originally I had just scattered the foam balls as they were but found it looked completely wrong. Instead I decided to cut all the foam balls in half so they would have a flat side and sit flush with the skin. Ended up looking a lot better but was a lot more tedious than originally planned.
Started the front today and added some wool dipped in latex to give some popping veins.
This is were it stands atm, need to give it another coat of latex to seal in the foam balls and a quick once over with a sponge to give it more texture. Next will look into making the boots
