sry for not posting in a while work goes a little bit slower now since i`m making another "costume" for My GF which is Demon Hunter From Diablo III although I`ll post some Updates tommorow

And there it is First Time EVER made Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel advanced power armour helmet

Unfortunately resining will be postponed due to weather and temperature outside as most of resins and bondo need at least 15 degrees (celcius) and right now it`s 3 Anyway now I`ll start building chest and shoulders after that legs and arms

First of all.................HELL YES! Glad to see you got the helmet pepped. :thumbsup

Second, look into EPOXY resin instead of fiberglass resin. You can use it indoors, it has no fumes. Or, at least the stuff I use doesn't.

True but epoxy is much more expensive and by the time I`m done with all other parts it`ll be nice and warm outside

Yeah, it is a little more costly. I get it because I like how it doesn't shrink, and doesn't stink!

and what about looks, and what do you put on top of your pep to smmoth it?? and ofc will it be possible to make "rondo" out of epoxy resin and epoxy putty I`ve read allot on the subject but never found anything about "rondo" made from epoxy

Hi again i have a big problem LENSES anyone have any ideas how to make them, what materials to use and how to tint them to look like on reference picture

Have no clue how to achieve that type of tint on lenses. Maybe a film similar to car window tint film or something?

Yeah, there is that option to use sunglass lenses. I'd say after the lid is fully hardened, you may want to see if you can find some that are bigger than the holes in the helmet, and maybe form them with a heat gun.

I'll look into it further, as well. I have a buddy I can ask things like this to..........

Cool although it will be hard to find sunglasses with lenses that are 9cm long and 3 cm wide

those would be perfect if only i could buy sheet 20 by 15 of that material that they use for those googles been looking for at least an hour and nothing maybe someone knows someone who could point me in right direction

Well long time no see although it`s been a very busy time for me since I`m running two projects at once and the other one is nearly done so here are some updates on my helmet
