Hello everyone! First time posting and introducing myself with my first sculpt, first mold aaand first cast. I hope you like it.
I tried to achieve a mix of the comic look and some kind of realistic look on this mask. It's not perfect, not symmetrical...but well, it's the first try and since the mask itself is meant to look self-made I think it is ok.

Progress on Version No. 2
So, since I did not exactly like the way my Psycho mask turned out in the first try I went on to create another one. Here is the progress so far:

I used a plaster mold of my face/head for the base, since I did not like the fitting on my first mask. The overall shape turned out way better.

This time I used Mars Clay light (note: Light and medium do not only differ in weight: Medium contains sulphur!)
I made a test eye lense with paper to fit into the mask, but modeled the eye lenses with clay lateron

Mouth vents are only basic and will be redone and final cleanup is to follow. Any suggestions?
And....anyone got an advice for molding? I tend not to use rebound 25 rather than mold max. Any good way to pour it on a sculpture like this? My plan is to make a mothermold with plaster and turn the sculpture face down and pour the silicone into the sides.
