The belt is done! I actually used a Chicago screw from my original belt I made nine years ago

Finally got my holster made for this set. Before anyone asks, yes it’s technically backwards. I decided to go with a cavalry draw on this one since Heller is a cavalryman and it evokes some of the civil war era holsters

The gorram Alliance shot my horse! Nate Heller, mid Unification War. By this point he’s replaced his sidearm with a private purchase but retains his early war Shadow satchel, he’s also kept his saber though most think it’s a useless addition.

My 7th Overlander Cavalry kit is more or less complete. At this point I’m just lacking a few satchel items, any additions William Pace adds to that project and my unit patch. I’m stupidly happy with how this turned out.

Very nice dude.
I forgot to ask (or maybe I neglected to see):
Where did you get the belt buckle from?

Thanks! The buckle came from a company called Hanover Brass, it’s a Texas militia saber belt buckle
Should have thought 'Lone Star.'

Almost a year late to the party, but I'm curious about the patch on the tunic. You originally had it point down. Any reason for the change?

I know the flashbacks had it reversed, but I just figure Sgt Reynolds needs answer to NO man!

Honestly I used the image of Mal and just rolled with it, lol it still needs to be fixed

Lest anyone think I am actually critical, I shall start posts with the fact I own, and often wear, a simple black T-shirt with the words 'Cosplay slacker'...
