I wanted to form something so I decided to do a test
on one of the fenders. I still have to build a former big
enough for the hull parts, so that will come next. I formed
this in 2mm it's not weight bearing so I don't see it needing
to be any thicker than that. I just trimmed it quick before
leaving for work.
The riser with the holes drilled through it,
to flow some air from the platen
up through the part.
I wanted to form something so I decided to do a test

You can finish up with one step if you're
good enough to float right over the cross
sections. I don't know if I am good enough
to do that....and I don't want to try! LOL
I just dig them out with a super sharp chisel
the styrene is soft it comes right out. Then
I just fill over them with the clay, it no so much the
amount you dig out in depth, but you want to make
sure you get the styrene dug out of the sides.Because
where you have 2 different mediums that meet there
is always an imbalance when your trying to sand it. Like
I said if you can sanded everything just over the cross
sections you don't have to worry about it. I like it this way
because when I am sanding I can see all the original surface
between the cross sections when it becomes flush ......your
done.
Here are the stars of the show.....well
they will be stars if they work if not
they will be about 86 lbs of door stops! LOL

The Jamaican in me wanted Stew Chicken......but on the other hand
I wanted Curry chicken....you got to go for Trinidad for that though!
Those Trinis make a curry stew chicken Woy!!!!!! You have to season
the chicken with curry but burn the sugar in the pot....that's the Trini
part of it......(Plus other things I won't tell you about thank you very much!)LOL
But you need a nice tune while u cook it if you don't it won't taste as good!
