Finished Wilco Models Bladerunner Blaster Kit...

Greetings.
Just finished my second Bladerunner Blaster. It was very a clean cast from Wilco Models for $50.00. Added a LED box from OFF-WORLD found on ebay. New metal trigger guard ,Weaver knob, new butt plate and metal screws. I went for a basic paint sceme. My fist Blaster was made old resin cast odds-n-ends given to me from my friend Jeff for a project. More custom than a standard sidearm. Combining resin and metal parts. The reciever is from OFF-WORLD the rest is just fun. This is my first time posting picks, please be kind...

Looks nice to me! Why the red LEDs on the left side screwdriver, though? Where did you get the butt plate and trigger guard, btw?

I didn't know Wilco did the PKD. This is interesting - I have a really crappy old resin PKD from the early 90s which was available here but have always wanted a better one. Thing is, being in Australia I'd never get a Sidkit or similar through customs. A resin kit maybe, especially if the Wilco dudes would break it down into several packages...think I'll drop them a line...

The Wilco kit is 5 piece kit ;side screwdriver, pistol grips, gun. and thumb safety switch? Made the trigger guard from some scrap aluminum. And I ordered the correct size green leds.

Very nice build there. The weathering is excellent.



To OP, that black gripped custom is cool! I will probably upset BR fans unintentionally but I like it better than the movie version.:cool

Man o man I hate to open this can of worms…

But just so you know: The BR Blaster from Wilco is a recast of my model, not sure it is was a full model 3 or 4 or a recast off my old Stunt models kits. Or possable a recast of a Sidkit as he recast my models as well with the Philps headed screws.

But it IS a recast, ONLY I ever used Philip head screws and three per side where the real Bulldog only has ONE small slotted head screw and two pins to mount the grip and trigger guard to the main gun frame.

I have drawing arrows shoeing the screws under the grips and a picture of the real thing.

Please let’s not start up about this, I just wanted those that care to know and I only hope some will not support this recaster by not buying.
