Fifth Element Blaster WIP

Hey guys,

I'm going to try and find a Vektor CP-1 airsoft gun (I thought I found it online, but it's already sold out). I want to modify it so it'll look like Korben Dallas's blaster from Fifth Element. Problem is, I have no idea how to actually modify the gun or create the pieces that go over the gun. If anyone can give me some advice on custom gun fabrication, I would really appreciate it.

Well, I went over to the Flea Market earlier today, and was doubtful that I would find a CP-1 airsoft. But, lo and behold!

And for $10 too! I tried looking for this online, but I believe they stopped making these and as a result, they're harder to find.

Now, I gotta figure out how to make the blaster parts. Any suggestions?

I have seen that replica made by HCG sell for as little as $74 on Ebay. Maybe you could get one cheap to use as a guide to make your own. You could always sell the HCG replica after you finished building yours.

Believe me, I would love to buy the replica, but I'm only 19 and my income is very limited.

I'd figure actually making the blaster would be cheaper.

After talking to a friend I met at a con, he recommended that I cut the airsoft down the barrel and built the top half by scratch. I'm probably going to use a combination of sculpey/wood/styrene for all the custom pieces.

Seems most of their stuff gets discounted at some point. I bought the Pedator Bowie they made which is really nice for $40 on ebay.

Saw that one of their online distributors have it listed for $60 and it was a $200 retail at one point.

I bought a damaged electronics Corbin Gun from a member here for $50.
