Looks great!

Rolling around in the dirt, mud, muddy water, etc. would actually make it look better. USMC snipers do that to their ghillie suits to help them look more natural. You probably wouldn't smell too good in a crowd though. It depends on how realistic you want to be. :lol

hey guys lol ... beetle i went to comic con ....freekin comic con with the nastiest meanest ugliest catwoman claw weapons on my hands and they were all up in EVERYONES face .... security even took pictures with me that day ..... maybe something like a sword will be more checked upon , i know the elven daggers are pretty sharp so i may take a wetstone to them ... this short sword is not too bad though it is as sharp as a t square you can literally pick it up by the blade ..... and honestly .....they sell **** sharper at conventions ... not only that but damn if i wanna kill someone i can kill them with a damn spoon if i wanted to , ill get in ......ill get innnn.**makes fist*** lol judge me and steven will most likely disturb a ren fair ... i wanted to go last year but this time we will really do some damage and go ...... we were also thinking of searching for larpers .... running into the middle of what they were doing and starting a fist fight with eachother ... or just running into the middle of a highschool foot ball game you know just something that we will most likely get arrested for ...hahah i def . need to search for that goose that bit me last year and challenge it rightfully ...... and tim i think this costume will stand up fine to water , sculpey cooked into a cinder block , leathers ...will i smell good if i roll around in swamps ..eh .. nah ...do i care ... nah ... ill try it then ill carry a free hugs sign ..... lol alright by the way i need to ask some other skyrim players what you think on this .... i am actually sitting here in full on Bosmer (wood elf) makeup , now .... i am testing what i actually want to do to steven on my own face , he looks a lot like a bosmer naturally , pointy nose , his bone structure in his face ... where i have odd features ..... and they are VERY tan bronze looking beings ..... but i did not want to full on paint him jersey shore orange LOL so ... this is what i was thinking

I think the makeup works really well on you. The shaping of the side swirls really gives your face that pointy, elven look that the bosmer have in the game.

LOL i would feel like a moron selling pictures of myself with days of the month .. buttt i def. wanna go to another cool spot in full gear when it is finished , i wanna get shots of steven as well after full makeup and finished suit .... i always need a good excuse to go travel through the woods lol... maybe next time ill go to ramapo and really confuse hikers .... especially when they find me and steven sword fighting in the middle of a stream ...

ALRIGHT its been a minute lol .... few setbacks i forgot to work into my( rushing to get things done before pax) ...... so i have a new roomate ... names omar ... he is a free loader , about 40 pounds ... black , brown striped hair .... yep ... a raccoon ... he is in my ceiling ..... being a jerk .... so that has been fun! >:-[ aside from that steven is workin late tonight soooo I STARTED messing with the ears , and they look AWESOME i love these things

i had them one for about two hours now , with very little spirit gum and they are holding quite well ... i gotta say they are a pain to adhere around all my hair ... so i will have to be extra careful not to get stevens hair all messed into the spirit gum ... he would not be so happy about that ... these things are made out of gelatin so they are kinda , fleshy ... move well with my ears (my ears move ...guess evolution missed me) and yea they are over all fairly comfortable.... yep ....

Looks good. Did you have a casting of an ear to sculpt those on, or did you just wing it?

dude i am just naturally mean looking ...all the time lol and xaos ...WING IT! GOD ...next weekend is pax ... i have to be done and ready without worry of costume parts breaking or flying off , should be interesting ...... after next weekend i should blow up this thread with photos of the trip , i believe i will continue working on this gear afterwards keep adding to it before october :> big apple comic con should be fun
