Farnsworth Discussion

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

I found a very close match on the push button. It looks like it will fit in the case too, as long as you bend the contacts.

It is a Gardner Bender #GSW-22 and sold on eBay by antonline (eBay name) for $12.44 including shipping.

A benifit is that it is a momentary on switch.

I believe that brand might be sold at home depot as well. I'm in there a couple times a day so I'll check today. It does look like a concave surface on the button though.

Also, it looks like that switch is on amazon for 3.45 plus shipping. Just search for #GSW-22.

In fact this is a standard switch at Home Depot, but it's gigantic. Won't even begin to work.

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

Out of the two links of where to buy your tin fly box, one link goes to a site that only has a plastic fly box and the other goes to a site with many boxes listed and I'm not sure which is the right one to get. Anyone got a link?

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

Id have to go back to the beginning of the thread and try to find the mode number, it's in here somewhere..

I got my sound module today, looks like it will work good, not too large. I will be rewiring the led to a longer wire so i can place it under the red lense, and the button will be wired to the leads on my pushbutton and i should be set!

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

The button I bought off eBay looks like the right size. The button diameter is just a hair over 3/8" and the shaft is about just a tad larger. And yes, the button is concave.

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

I think you guys bought out all their stock. hehe

The original link that was there was to a fly fishing site in the USofA. The RPF guys cleaned them out of gold boxes. I found the Richard Wheatley site in the UK a while back had them still listed. I bought a couple of them just the other day to use rather than the "factory seconds" I'd bought previously on Ebay. It ended up being about £38 I think with shipping for two.

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth
