Yes it is different than that circuit. That one only has an 8kHz sample rate, the ringtone is severely muddy sounding at that rate. My board uses a 32kHz sample rate for full fidelity.

Is it any different than this?

Hope we can rebuild the thread with its focus on research, its a shame to watch all of that information disappear. I'm getting ready to put one together, since there are various versions of the Farnsworth and parts are becoming scarce I'm going to do something a little bit different.
