Here's some caps from the "Duped" episode. They are getting scratched up - it's hard to get paint to stick to aluminum:

It is defintely a gloss finish. Those rivits in the corners secured the fly holders. Not too sure about the one in the middle.

that last one is the one, man thats shiney.

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

They also look solid dark brown versus the faux leather in the earlier shots

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

The fit of the faceplate is fine with me. I am still in for one!!!

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

he messed with his box a bit and got the gaps filled so the plate itself is good to go.

I don't think it's that glossy.
The thing is, when you slant the box for an extreme angle camera shot the space between the texture becomes less noticable making it look shiny.

As for the rivet in the middle....I watched the episode on demand last night, it looks like the middle rivet is just an impression in the paint.
Looks like it might have been repainted and someone accidentally hit the wet paint with something.

Man, they're really beating the crap out of that prop.

By the end of the season the box will be missing a cover and only one button will be left.

Looks like there is a Model 350 that probably also has the switches. There are a few of these cathode rejuvenators on the bay now.

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

I have to echo what has been brought up before. That push button comes in many shapes and sizes. I doubt that we'd all have to buy surplus electronic equipment to get one, it's in a catalog somewhere. We just have to keep digging to find it.

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

Too small and it has a convex button rather than concave. The one on the prop has a threaded shaft thats about 3/8" dia.

I'm sure there is something out there thats close but i am trying to find the exact one. It's all part of the fun . And if the light on it is the same as whats on the Farnsworth stand then i will be happy to pay the $25 shipped for the unit. Just like there are plenty of the center knobs in black i want to find the correct brown one. Buying the black is to easy.

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

You say 3/8 is too big then you post a link to a switch with a .410 shaft? The knobs are about 1/2" which is about the same size as the switches nut. A switch with a 1/2" nut will have around a 3/8" mounting hole.
