am I the only one to just realize that you can actually use vats to fire more than once at a time? i just now realized that when in vats you can click the trigger to allocate as many AP as you can to fire/throw. Was this in fallout 3 too? If it is i'm annoyed as it makes things alot easier x.x Also i had an accident today when doing the Helios power up and the NCR now things i'm a well meaning thug lol. I had 3 rangers threaten to kill me but they gave me 3 days to make things right.
.....Geezos cripes. That's the entire point of the Agility attribute. Action Points! What did you think that right bar meter was for? And yes, it applies to Fallout 3 as well. In fact, it also applies to Fallouts 1 and 2!
As for my current play through, I got to the part of the game that forced me to begin from scratch. After reloading from various points of the "Oh, Papa" quest I FINALLY got the peaceful resolution with the Khans. Sure it would have been funny to sneak into Papa Khan's bedroom, plant C4 into his pant and blow him to kingdom come, but those poor Khany bas#*$& have had a tough history of me wiping them out over and over again. If you search for inscriptions about their Mongol past, you'll meet a follower who tells you both events from Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 and how they were wiped out by some hero who some historians confuse as the same person. Yep, that was me.
Now I'm trying to get my fool of a friend Arcade to trust me so we can start recruiting his Enclave friends. I WANT THAT ENCLAVE POWER ARMOR GODDANGIT!
I remember it in fallout 1 and 2. YEah i'm pretty dense at times. I'm going to go for the most generic ending first and then go for the other ones as i go. I may save where i am now as a basic place for later causing trouble as I can still screw over the NCR since i'm not really on good terms.

Yeah, VATS lets you click multiple times in FO3. I actually do most of my shooting in VATS. It's especially handy if you get the "Grim Reaper's Spirit" perk, which completely refills your action points if you make a kill in VATS. That plus Action Boy, Sniper, and the various aim-improving traits (Commando and Gunslinger, I think) are REALLY handy.
Save like mad before you do that. I got the Intel check to pop up to get the quest and then it bugged and he wouldn't say anything new to me. Oh he did keep bitching about EDE and how I should get rid of him. :lol I just started another play through so hopefully it works this time.
New DLC - wow another FU to PC Gamers. I wish these companies remembered where their fan base originated. I don't remember the Xbox360 back in the 90s.

Will it? According to the Official Website/Press Release it says XBox 360 Exclusive and said nothing about it coming out for other platforms.
Unless Microsoft owns Bethesda, nothing remains exclusive for long. Even the renowned Mass Effect, a very xbox series (shade on the PC) is getting a PS3 release soon.

Eventually. My point is that there is a trend of properties that started as PC games (Call of Duty, Fallout, etc.) get popular then the companies start shafting PC gamers. PC never gets special versions of games even when the property is only still being made because PC gamers bought the game and that enabled them to make sequels. Do companies get some kind of kickback for putting things onto Xbox Live first or something?
Ok back to Fallout. I'm starting my second play through. Does anyone else have a problem in these games playing a different way their second time? I decided to take Veronica with me this time, but I miss Boone!:lol Even though he's a moron who loses every weapon I give him.
Its been pretty much the same for me so far. The NCR is still on my side but i'm having issues in the radioactive paradise of camp searchlight. The guide says i can kill one guy and steal the keys to the buildings or talk to him to get a mission and neither works. I'm wondering if have to do something else, the first time through when the ncr loved it was the same way.

Anyone else peed off at this crashing on Xbox? 2nd playthrough....level 25 or 26....was going round freeside, did a couple of quests for the Van Graff's, hadn't saved for quite a while as with all the too-ing and fro-ing i sort of forgot...(doofuss..>), went to talk to someone, screen froze....nothing to do but turn the damn thing off. This has happened about 3 or 4 times now. Fallout 3 was a bugger for this too.
I didn't much like F:NV on first playthrough....i thinki was a F:3 stick-in-the-mud. This second playthrough is much better though. I'm doing a lot of exploring andd side quests. Consequently enjoying it a lot more.
Oh, one more thing.....just outside of Nellis there is a train station tunnel. I went through this for kicks, lots of mines and Ghouls. At one point there is an open door to the left which you can go through, except there is a glitch in the floor that makes you fall through nothing until you respawn a hundred yards away....it's actually quite funny! There is a glowing one who keeps running out the door, falling through the floor respawning in the room and it just goes on and on.....wierd....

What are your Basic equipment wen playing hardcore mode?
Im at level 12 or 13
I have the sheriff duster and hat from Primm (for the CH +1 Guns +5 and the PE +1 from the hat)
and the 1st Recon beret +5 Crit. chance, +1 PER
for protection i have the 9mm pistol and now i bought myself a sniper rifle for my main weapon.
I also carry with me a Power fist
My companiens are Veronica and ED-e
The rest of my bags are filled with junk i sell or make into stuff to eat or drink.
