Fallout 4

The official Fallout Pip-Boy App has been released!

While the game isn't out yet, this application gives you enough to work with in order to understand how it will work. There's a display option that lets you customize the position of the display itself if you have the Pip-Boy edition replica. There's also a 'demo mode' that lets you browse the user interface and even get a special preview of the game's map and where Vault 111 is precisely located. There is also an offline mode which I'm hoping is a more glorified demo mode that carries your characters statistics instead of what the demo mode has. The sounds are authentic, the animations are lovely and I can totally see this working as a second screen app with or without the Pip-Boy edition replica.
 
Drooling.........re-watched it on 1/4 speed to absorb it all. The detail in the distressed areas is mind boggling, anyone complaining about graphics has never tried to actually model a destroyed object. The dead vines add a lot of photo-realism. Only grip...@ 0:42 a crow clips through a tree.

The deathclaw grabbing at its injury is an amazing animation. The synth's look amazing! The super mutant with a shopping card full of rocks as ammo. The gun with a nixie tube ammo readout. I can't wait!!!!
 
Oh good lord, I can't wait anymore ! And I only have one weekend to play with it before I have to go away for work :cry
 
This looks incredible! In my experience these games tend to be buggy upon release so I'm doing my best to just hold off and wait until a few patches have come out. The screenshots and vids are making it hard to do so though!
 
I wish youtube would take their having to sign in to see a game trailer and stick it. I'm hoping amazon ships a bit early since i paid for shipping this time so i get it fast.

Edit: looks like i'm not getting the app or fallout shelter as no way in hell am i giving apple my credit card info for free items.

As an officially certified Apple Macintosh Technician, Salesperson and lifetime Apple user (Seriously, before Apple was cool, it was dead to a lot of folks), I assure you that nothing malicious occurs when you give them that information and there is no money related transaction that doesn't remind you what you're about to purchase and doesn't ask you for your password before your purchase.

I assure you their customer service is a 200x better than Valve, and they got my cred info too.

... We gave EA our cred info..

What he said, and furthermore you can create an itunes account by using a gift card, and you won't have to give them your credit card if you're that terrorised by big corporations
 
Cool! Got a text from Best Buy saying it has shipped. But when I look at the order status it says it is waiting for UPS to pick it up.
 
Ah ha! Smart guys (at least for the people living in the US): I was thinking "I'm going to be tired when I go in to work the next day" when I realized the next day is Veterans Day and I have the day off.
 
I gave in and setup an itunes but i removed my cc info after. Gamestop charged me for my f4 season pass but amazon's probably not going to ship the game to me until tuesday. even when you pay for shipping they're slow now. I'm in the process of putting all my preorders over to gamestop.
Does anyone know if we get that free preorder poster they've been advertising since we preordered the special edition? They say it's shipping inside the game cases.

Apologies for the double post but I wanted a new Notification to go out to everyone, we released the Fallout 4 soundtrack on iTunes for everyone to enjoy.
 
Well, heck. I was planning to use my old Samsung Infuse in the Pipboy, but the software doesn't support it. So now I have to use an S4 with a screen crack. First World problem.
