This is such a beautiful work of art. I've been debating whether or not to go AEP7 or AER9 for a while now. The AEP7 modles I've found are generally cheaper, but this AER9 is just soooo damned good looking. Can't wait for more pictures!

Never mind, went looking around and found that the overall length of the gun is supposed to be about 38 inches. I can work the rest out from there.

It's a lot harder than it looks, safe to say. Tons of little details...my estimated completion time went two weeks ago...

For instance, one of the parts I've been dreading was the rim around the stock. This is less than half done, but here's what I've got so far.

I started with bending balsa around the profile until it broke, then filled it with wood putty, as you can see.

Of course, putty means - my favorite - more sanding! This sanding thing is endless...ugh.

Knowing me, I could not just hang it on the wall. i constantly would be going

Yeah, why not? Lol.

I need a professional caster for these. If you're reading this, please PM me and we can work out the details. I'm interested in getting a price not exceeding $100 a unit, in resin if possible. You, as the caster, would then own the mold, and once I conclude my run, you would have the rights to the mold and sell any copies you like, provided I get a 10% royalty on every piece sold.

Small update here, but important.

As you can see, I got the cheek-rest in place tonight. These really add to the look of the gun, and though it's not a huge update, it's an important one.

I also finished puttying the stock. More sanding ahead.
