I've been following the build on this piece for a while. Even though I'd never seen the movie, the prop itself was really intriguing. Well, thanks to a little insomnia, I finally got to see the movie. Very weird, very cool! I like those offbeat type flicks. :)

Well, now I have a reason to really like this gun now! Great work on this bad boy! Once it finished, I'd like to put in my order for "The Special"! ;)

-B89! :D

i will probably start on the final piece for the gun, the teeth.

when that is done i am going to start to offer kits. I have looked into making a simplified kit, but didn't like how it turned out, so i have decided that i will offer it as a 'bare-bone' kit. You will get all the pieces you will need to build it and will have to add latex for the gonky look yourself.

Also, since the connection between the barrel and the grip is quite thin, it might be best to offer it without any moving parts, just a removable clip. it would just be too fragile.

Good god, it's done! I've been watching this build for ye-ars, and it looks worth the wait, fantastic job Marc!

i'll see if i can finish the clip this week and start casting kits. I will also have to make detailed instructions. It is a very tough kit to put together and not for the novice :)

Nice to meet you
Use the English translation software are so wrong I'm sorry.
So I was search for Gristle Gun found here is touching.
I want one but indispensable products
It can be your own great. Good luck.

Marc, Thank you.

I'm just very happy to see this as close as it is to being completed.

Congratulations, it's a thing of grotesque beauty!

Marc. I am from LA, so let me see if I can use this translator thingie too:

(Original text):
DOOOOOD. Dat ROCKZ! Awesoooooome! Like...Bitchin Gnarly awesome. DOOOOD. Its da BOMB. You da MAN!WOOT! Knuckleeeees!

(Translation):
Dear friend, I very-much appreciate the intricacy of your construct. You have captured the subtle nuances of the original device in all of its complexity. Good job, sir. Bravo.

Just kidding. Great job. I can't wait to see the instruction sheet for that. "Take the...um...BONE part and glue it to that...um...OTHER BONE part. Repeat."

Thanks!

It has been one of the most straining projects i have been working on since i started building props.

ID-ing 65 or so individual parts from 4 different modelkits only using fuzzy screenscaptures was a true challenge. I think i spent about 150-200 hours or so on that alone.

The next challenge is to find a way to build a strudy enough kit (even the original looked fragile) that has a working 'slide' and a magazine that can be taken out

aaah, the ol' times :) how i love that project!!

reminds me: Marc, i still need to send you the new discoveries i made on some of the parts....

aaaargh! been away from the hobby too long :( BUT because of that sometimes you are able to find thing's you didn't notice before :) i remember watching the same scenes frame by frame 100s of times only to look for a damn single bone ^^

also: i am working on a solution for the instruction sheet!
