Jamie Lee and Yeoh winning was also great, but I have much more attachment to the two above… one made my childhood, one was prominent in my teen movie years….

Nice. I was thinking about both of them in this too after they both won. After all these years, funny how fate brings them together again.

I don’t typically put a whole lot of stock into the Oscars, but what an emotional high it is to see this movie win so many well-deserved awards. Ke Huy Quan’s speech had me very emotional.

I had read the full synopsis weeks ago and was like “This sounds dumb.”

I was wrong.

It’s sooo weird, but soooo entertaining.

Really enjoyed it.

Exactly ^^...and also a inner dialogue about life in general. Was it well lived? Did I do the right thing in terms of family, duty and am I satisfied with the life I lead personally? Did I just go with the flow and left my dreams by the wayside? Or all of those different possibilities/lives were mine; it's just that I had forgotten about those and what they really meant.
