hi guys,
first timer here. I have never tried to make my own costume from nothing but then new york city comic con is happening so I decided to try.

thought I share with you guys whoever looking to buy EVA foam. It's been known here before, but it's $5 off right now so you can get 6mm(1/4") EVA foam sheet that big for only $20bucks... if you can order online and pick it up at sears. It does have pattern on one side but other side is smooth.

I will try to update on my progress as I go on. I'm going to make alternative Smoke costume from Mortal Kombat. There is an amazing one done by Smoke from this forum

Thanks for the tip. I ordered my mat and will pick it up tomorrow. I plan on starting my son's IM build next week. Almost done with fiberglassing the helmet. I definitely think foam is the better option for the actual suit. He's 7 and needs to be able to move around. (not the little dude in my avatar, that's my 4 yr old Hawkeye, his costume was easy in comparison).
