ESB Solo DL-44 paint help

Recently bought an ESB DL-44 from evilbay, not amazing quality but it was just a mini project to do in between finishing up my TK armour.

anyone know what colour to use for the handgrips?

also does anyone have a good technique for doing carbon scoring around the muzzle without an airbrush.

and when weathering the scope should it be done in bronze like the E-11 scope?

I'm not an expert, but I think they had brown grips. I have the MR blaster, and it has brown plastic grips. As for the muzzle, I did a light mist with a can of flat black from a distance on my ROTJ Solo muzzle to give a fired look to it that came out pretty well.

I used brown and black acrylic ink for carbon scoring and Vallejo liquid silver for scratches.
