ESB AT-ST vs ROTJ AT-ST- whats the difference?

Look the same to me...lol

They are two completely different models. Take a look at some of the build threads and you'll see the differences.

The ESB has longer legs, a skinnier chassis, and a prettier mouth :lol

Seriously, they are worlds apart, the ROTJ used replicated parts pulled from the ESB prop's kit parts.
Only a very few kit parts are actually used on the Jedi walker, where as the TESB is literally loaded with donor kit surprises.

Add to that the head profiles that are chalk and cheese, there completely different animals....the TESB being a greyhound, and the ROTJ more of a Bull Terrier lol, hence IMO the TESB, is just way more easy on the eye lol.

Actually there are more kitparts on the ROTJ than we previously thought (a bit more than 30 kits, but I reckon that it's less than for the TESB :p).

I prefer the look of the ROTJ because it looks more "real" IMHO, but the TESB is interesting because only one half was done and it's not perfectly simetrical (in shape and details). I dont like those long legs because they look so weak for a military vehicle... :lol

True bro, the Jedi walker does appear more "milltary" and armored, but its just not as pretty :lol
Have to say, Iam a leg man though, so the long pins do it for me haha!
Your up to 30 kits on the ROTJ now huh, cool that your IDing her succesfully.
Im not sure on the kit count for the TESB right his minute, were missing a couple i reckon...ill try get a donor count done here in the AM lol.

Haha bro I know you like nice legs :D I hope your GF is not jealous :p

Yeah Im up to about 30 kits, but I still have some kits to ID, I know I'll never find them though and since that's only tiny bits that's not really important !

I think there are at least 50 kits, probably more, on the TESB ! When I started the list I had about 32 kits (some was used more than one time though) and now youve found a lot more !

Haha bro, Elsa is always jealous at the way i look at my builds lol.....plying her with gifts helps though...oh and puppy dog eyes LOL.

Bro let me know what you cant find on the ROTJ, id be happy to take a look while running through TESB stuff...you never know?

Very true on the TESB walker, so many kits used, but there is a small kind of sick pattern, most areas do seem to share the same mix of kits, so that helps....but then some areas...are a complete nightmare, the ref pics are just laughing at me TBH LOL.

I always thought the ROTJ AT-ST was different, mainly in the legs but there are many detail part differences.I think the ESB AT-ST is maybe a bit taller,or the legs appear longer&more slender where as the Jedi AT-ST is a bit stoutier in appearance.I like both, they both have their place in the Star Wars universe.I find the ESB more interesting to me I guess because of its incredibly short screen time? That was what? All of maybe 5 seconds?

I think they kinda even out in the height department John, Julien would know, the ROTJ head is taller and the legs short, and its the other way around for the TESB.
My TESB currently stands at around 16" i think, as ive got the hips rigged pretty steep, but average stance on both props is around the 14" mark.....bro???? LOL.

Yeah i think 5 seconds is about it lol, maybe less...a crying shame, id have loved to have seen more of this prop animated!

Yeah the fact is that the TESB and ROTJ go-motion models are not done at the same scale. If they would, the TESB would be way taller !

The ROTJ is about 15" tall when in the usual position. So they are more or less the same size, the ROTJ just looks more massive and the TESB skinnier, anyway that would be great to have both on the same shelf ! :D (with an AT-AT and the Taun-Taun ! :p).

Sounds a great display idea bro lol, id love to do the ATAT, but its a biggie on the wallet for an armature of that scale lol....nice thought though.

Any of the Hoth gear gets me going....i love it all!
