Sure does. That's why I'm out. His movies are terrible, franchise or not. Super 8, ST'09, TFA, all made me feel like I was going insane in the theater while watching them. It goes beyond mere dislike into feeling like I'm being ****** with. It's really incredible.

It’s true Nostalgia supercedes in depth character development in most of Abrams movies. But I still can’t help but cringe when I hear The Emperor’s cackle.

Maybe the saber is JJs metaphor for fixing what Ryan did [emoji2373]. At least it looks new and not junky. (like she put some effort into cleaning it and making it whole/reverent)
