Well, we've got the grip and trigger guard looking better, but as soon as we solve one issue, another pops up... the body is way too long! The "Hengstler counter" and such all need to be scooted back more so that they are more in line with the end of the folding stock sort of... hard to explain.. anyway, here is what we have so far until we can make those changes:

Also, just a guess - The bulky part of the grip might be a lever release for the leg socket holster.

Beat me to it, I was about to post that they've IDd the stock over at The Firearms Blog.

Edit: I just check out ATI's website to see if I couldn't figure which model of stock it was and I came up short, I couldn't find an exact match, it seems that they've changed their designs since the one shown was made. All I can say for sure is that it has a cheek comb and an added recoil pad, probably from ATI as well. I'm guessing that this an older model so it's going to require some searching to find depending on just how old it is.

To what? The TFB article or the ATI website? I don't have a link to the TFB article, it's pretty well buried by now but I can try to find it if you're really interested. If you're interested in the ATI website, look at my posts about a page or two back and you'll see that I've posted links to all of the likely candidate stocks.

Excellent modelling work. The problem I have with the whole design is that it simply looks too much like a toy....I suppose that's the point now Disney are making it

After speaking with Art, the ones issued by ANOVOS as celebration are "dummy" casts with no moving parts. Not sure if I should just make it a single static hunk of resin, or try for the folding stock/internal LEDs/removable clip. What do you all think?

FWIW, the blasters at CVII had the LEDs in the magazines. Dunno how they accomplished that if they were resin casts, but they did indeed light up.

Wow, I never saw any pics of them lit up in photos so I had no idea. FWIW, I have seen a lot of resin casts that have internal LEDs, you just create the internal space for the LEDs before you mold the Master and then do a 2-part mold. We are definitely going to try and do a front-facing flashlight and the two LED vents on the side. Hopefully we can pull it off, heh!
