Hi Indy, any news on the progress and any idea when these are ready to ship out?

Scabbards are being leather wrapped today. Blades are ready for fitting. A slight delay with the plaques as the weather has been bad so the wood needs more time to dry. It looks like all the plaques should be ready in about 10 days. Then, it'll just be a matter of final assembly and packaging. So, if we're not entirely on track for end of January, it shouldn't be much longer after that...

Are those plaques dry yet?! We are all itching to get our hands on these .... hoping you might have a new update for us Indy?

I should have all the final prototypes for an official shoot later next week. Everything should be shipping very soon! I can finally see the light at the end of this extremely long tunnel!!

"Final Prototype" is generally the first off our production line. If everything is good, production just carries on, but sometimes, I'll make some last minute tweaks. But, in this case, we've done enough tweaks to last several years, so I think we're done now and everything should start shipping in the next couple of weeks.

I had to confirm a couple of points about the hooks for the plaque, so that is being finalized now, then everything should start shipping immediately. Keep your eyes on your inbox for those shipping notifications!!!

That's part of the scabbard you're seeing.

Yep that second horse head is part of the scabbard, so when the sword is sheathed there are two heads

What's the steel used for the bladed? Can they possibly be sharpened?

Any closer estimate to when this beauty is shipping?

It's a tempered carbon steel that can certainly be sharpened. No update... but should be VERY soon.

First swords were actually scheduled to ship this week, but I'm still waiting on confirmation that we're on track. I'll post here as soon as I have final word that they are going on... it should start any day now.
