I agree with you though I might consider the A if they continue to improve the building techniques and possibly add more features. It does seem there are a lot of people into the A...it would be interesting see if there is actually a viable market for the A.

I think this is just the start, and although the refit is the most requested I think we are gonna get a new ship every year or two from here until we are all broke or dead.
A,B,C,D,E,F,G And hell why not J. NX, Voyager, Excelsior +plus many excelsior variants.
Don't be surprised if they do a "Different" TOS Enterprise as well.

My opinion (we all have them) is they’re not going to do an “A”. If they keep to their word (and they must), all of the refit molds will be destroyed. That’s a lot of effort and expense just for a minor paint change and an A decal. Once I have the refit, I wouldn’t want such a similar model, and I think a lot of people would feel the same. I’m not sure the demand would be there.

OK I was reading between the lines but that’s usually what “Limited edition, only produced once” usually means. TOS molds were all destroyed after the run to ensure the “Limited Edition” status of the collectible.
