I wonder how many units the TOS sold in the last few days of the campaign. FOMO would hopefully trigger a surge.
It was a quite a lot of them, but I suspect that was mainly because people hadn't expected it to reach the sales target. It dragged on for weeks on end with trickling sales and Tomy had to lower the target twice to eventually hit it. The moment it did — not long before the deadline — the sales spiked hard for a few days. We've already had that surge this time and the circumstances are different, so I don't expect it'll happen again.
I think most people on this forum who wanted a TOS Enterprise may already have it. It was talked about endlessly when offered.

These are supplemental kit replacements for the Polar Lights version, of course. Recommend you jump on them quickly, as there definitely will not be as many available as Tomy Refits being sold!
I think there is a HUGE opportunity for Tomy to make these as add-on kits, with magnets for the docking ports!

True for this forum, but it was only luck that I didn’t miss out on the TOS. I saw a YouTube video very late in the campaign where Chris was interviewed (after the double drop in minimum backer requirement) and I ordered and eventually found/joined this forum after not finding any content at all elsewhere. And I have a modest vehicle collection. The average Trek fan (who might have at least thought about taking the plunge) likely missed the opportunity completely. They did a much better job of getting the word out this time.
